Humanity is gearing up to return to the moon and the Cincinnati Observatory is celebrating with our Supermoon Rising event on Thursday, October 17th. Join us from 6-9pm to learn about plans for next year’s Artemis 2 mission to the moon, along with interactive activities and crafts related to our lunar neighbor. Weather permitting, we’ll watch the supermoon rise over the horizon with views from our historic telescopes. 

Possibility of Comet Siting as well for guests arriving prior to 8pm! Two great celestial object sitings in one evening of fun.

With lots of activities to keep everyone entertained, this event will happen rain or shine!
